The economic life of Lorette

It is also a place for reflection and reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities, an aspect increasingly emphasized in discussions about national reconciliation.

DSFM - École Lagimodière

École Lagimodière is a Francophone school that is part of the Division scolaire franco-manitobaine (DSFM), a network of schools offering French-language education across the province.

The school is named after Louis Lagimodière, a 19th-century Franco-Manitoban pioneer known for his role in the development of the Francophone community in the Red River region. He was one of the first Francophone settlers in the area and an important explorer.

The school stands out for its strong commitment to the Francophone community. It plays a key role in preserving French language and culture in the Lorette area. The school organizes various events and activities celebrating Franco-Manitoban cultural traditions and encourages students to participate in local projects.

Parish Of Notre-Dame De Lorette

The Parish of Lorette is a Catholic place of worship located in Lorette, Manitoba. It is part of the Archdiocese of Saint Boniface and primarily serves the Franco-Manitoban community of the region.
